Trim the chines to fit under the keel. Tape the chines and gunwales to the aluminum keel / stem. Usea as little tape as possible as it will have to be removed before the skin and keel can be removed from the skinning frame. Cut off the aluminum tube stems with a tube cutter even with the top of the gunwales.
