Tape has been used in the pic above to temporarily secure cross sections 2 and 3 to the stringers. The 1" X 5/8" aft deck stringers are trial fitted at this time. The notches in the cross sections are 3/4"X 5/8", and the stringers are 1" X 5/8". You could notch the ends of the deck stringers if you want them to sit flush. If you didn't rip the deck stringers earlier, you can cut them now using a jig saw.
