Once the plates are positioned correctly, mark and drill two holes for the mounting bolts. The holes should be drilled about 1.5" in from the outer edge of the plate. Drill the holes high enough to insure there is adequate plywood support below the holes. Remember that the plywood in this area of the cross section has a concave cut.
