The Sonnet 16 skin and frame ready for assembly. Unlike a standard folding kayak, there is no separate rigid frame structure. Instead, there are only three stringers that insert into the skin. In addition, there are 4 sponsons as part of the skin. The stringers and sponsons work together to provide rigidity and shape to this inflatable / folder hybrid. The main advantages of this arrangement are light weight ( 19lbs) and quick assembly..consistently under 10 minutes bag to boat.
